Our home sits in the mountains of the North Coast region of California. The rugged terrain of Lake County that includes ancient volcanic soil at higher elevations. Warmer summers, cooler winters, steep elevations, surrounded by wildlife all makes for a demanding environment. But these elements produce wines with exceptional character.

Project
OVIS
Project Ovis is the transformation of our 1,000-acre mountain vineyard located on the North Coast of California. It’s our reimagining of viticulture and winemaking, and the conversion of our operations into a completely sustainable ecosystem. Our goal here in Lake County is to achieve a regenerative organic farming system, to address the effects of climate change.
We’re setting industry standards through our commitment to an earth-first approach to farming and wine making. Our operations are already 100% Certified Sustainable, and by harvest of 2021 we’ll be one of the largest Certified Organic mountain-grown vineyards in the U.S. Project Ovis represents the next phase of our efforts in a journey towards a regenerative organic closed-loop farming system.
