Buck Shack

Bourbon Barrel Zinfandel 2023

We’re certain there was plenty of bourbon consumed back in the day in “Ye Old Buck Shack,” so it’s only appropriate that we age some of our best high elevation Lake County Zinfandel in empty bourbon barrels.

About this wine

Each sip is wonderfully balanced and resonates with rich hints of bourbon and toasted vanilla notes. This one’s a party for your palate—enjoy.

The Zinfandel grapes used for this wine are cultivated in a high-elevation vineyard located in Lake County. The unique terroir of this region contributes to the production of a deep ruby-red Zinfandel. After fermentation, the wine undergoes a three-month aging process in freshly emptied bourbon barrels,
which imparts additional complexity, richness, and subtle oak notes.
