There is something special about the Long Valley Ranch, where this Pinot Noir is grown. Located in the western most corner of a 5 mile long trans-verse valley, it’s tucked amongst the fertile valley floor between two 3,000 ft mountain ranges. This offering is garnet in color, with aromas of toasty oak & cherry cola. On the palate, you’ll find flavors of vanilla, dried cherry and star anise. Midweight and balanced acidity, it’s a versatile, food-friendly wine. Once it’s pressed, we lay this Pinot Noir down in 25% new French oak from Radoux, Demptos and Seguin Moreaux, for a minimum of 16 months.
