Lake County might not strike you as being the ideal growing region for Pinot Noir, but the unique growing conditions do provide a few spectactular locations to make this varietal.

About this wine

This Pinot Noir is aged 6 months in French and American oak. Aromas are of cranberry, cherry, and cinnamon, followed by flavors of cherries, dried figs and cocoa. This wine finishes elegantly with cinnamon and white pepper. This Pinot pairs nicely with a wide variety of cheeses. Try with a creamy Blue, a mature Gouda, or a nice Gruyere.

Aromas of dark red fruit, with just a hint of fresh herbs. The flavors are of black cherry, boysenberry, and tobacco with soft, yet lingering tannins.
