Syrah 2021
This wine has a deep violet tone. On the nose you can find dark cherries, blackberries and blueberries with hints of smoked bacon, ground black pepper. On the pallet, this syrah reveals its potential. The flavors of ripe fruits with nuances of dark chocolate, espresso and a touch of exotic spices, leading to an elegant finish that lasts for a long time thanks to its concentration.
In 2021, we experienced mild spring weather and early blooms, followed by a heatwave from May to July. Despite the drought, our sheep helped retain soil moisture, resulting in an early harvest from August 12th to October 20th, producing small but highly concentrated berries. This vintage promises exceptional depth and intensity.
Aromas of dried plum, juicy cherry, and white pepper, balanced with flavors of marionberry, sultanas, herbs de Provence, and clove that linger for ages. This very dark garnet wine will leave your glass stained and age in your cellar for years to come.
