Chardonnay 2023

Fermented in tank at low temperature to preserve the aromas and formation of esters. The natural acidity combined with the ripe flavors of Red Hills form a synergy of complexity: beautiful acidic structure, ripe apple, floral and nutty flavors and aromas, with a bright but creamy mouthfeel and a long finish with vanilla notes provided through the oak.

Vintage Notes

2023 was an amazing year! Early spring rains soaked the vines, continuing into early summer with three times the usual rainfall. This cooler, late ripening vintage allowed for longer hang times, resulting in the darkest reds and intense whites we've seen in years. Look out for vintage 2023 - it's going to be one for the books.
