Concentrated cherry, raspberry, and dried herb flavors meld with warm, zesty spices and echoes of French Oak on the palate leading to a long, full finish. This one never goes out of style.
The 2020 vintage started out dry and warm. Weeks of 100-plus degree weather in early May gave the vines a good jump start, allowing the harvest to start a week earlier than normal. During the harvest lull, cloud cover gave the fruit more hang time. We are seeing good color density and concentration in this vintage.
