Lake County Pinot Noir 2018
Lake County might not strike you as being the ideal growing region for Pinot Noir, but the unique growing conditions do provide a few spectactular locations to make this varietal.
Aromas are of cranberry, cherry, and cinnamon, followed by flavors of cherries, dried figs and cocoa. This wine finishes elegantly with cinnamon and white pepper.
This Pinot pairs nicely with a wide variety of cheeses. Try with a creamy Blue, a mature Gouda, or a nice Gruyere.
